An offline-first counter
Scan a barcode or type a name. Pick the unit, quantity and payment. The bill, stock move and receipt post together — with no network round-trip.
Built for the hardware counter
Offline-first billing, stock, credit and VAT for Sri Lankan hardware shops. Built for bags, pallets, coils, metres, contractors — and the way your counter actually runs.
At a hardware counter it is also a stock move, a credit entry, a cheque in the diary, a VAT line and a receipt in the customer’s hand. Most shops hold that together with a bill book, a ledger and memory.
The bill book knows the sale, but not what is left in stock.
The credit ledger knows the balance, but not which invoice is still unpaid.
The stock notebook is always a day behind, and only one person can read it.
Not a generic POS with a hardware theme. Built around the units, credit habits, tax rules and language of a Sri Lankan hardware shop.
Scan a barcode or type a name. Pick the unit, quantity and payment. The bill, stock move and receipt post together — with no network round-trip.
Bag, pallet, coil, metre, kilogram, piece. One item, many units, exact conversion and cost per base unit.
Customer limits, invoice-level balances, receipts, post-dated cheques, deposit/cleared/bounced states and debtor ageing.
Return against the original invoice. The credit note reverses the tax and restocks at the original cost — not today’s price.
Receive stock, track supplier payables and move average cost forward with every GRN. See what the stock is actually worth.
VAT-inclusive pricing, 18% VAT and 1.25% SSCL, Schedule 01 and Schedule 04 CSV exports that match the shop’s books.
Count by location, post the variance with a reason, and transfer between shop and store without losing the audit trail.
“Kambi.” “Simenti.” “Payippa.” “Agula.” Save the contractor, mason or DIY name against the item. The counter finds it even when the operator does not know the trade term.
Every sale, stock move, payment and edit is append-only and hash-chained. One button checks the chain — useful when two people remember the same day differently.
A distraction-free counter for the person serving, not a dashboard for someone in an office. Large totals, obvious payment buttons, one job at a time.

The shop’s database lives on the shop’s device, in a real SQLite file, not in a browser tab that forgets. The app is a service worker: it starts with no network. Bills, stock moves, credit and receipts keep posting.
Single-writer by design. One counter, one browser profile, no “last write wins” surprises.
English, Sinhala, Tamil, Hindi and Bengali. The labels switch; the prices, stock and credit stay the same.
Launch pricing in LKR. A pilot shop pays nothing for the first eight weeks. No per-seat games, no card required to try the demo.
Local
Rs. 39,000 one-off
The counter on your own PC. No cloud account needed.
Cloud
Rs. 2,900 / month
or Rs. 29,000 / year
The same counter, plus a safe copy off the shop’s device.
Onboarding
Rs. 10,000 one-off
We put the shop’s real catalogue in, not a demo.
Prices are launch pricing in Sri Lankan rupees and exclude hardware. Cloud sync requires a connection when it runs; the counter does not. Owner viewer and IRD relay are on the roadmap, not in the pilot build.
Yes. The app and its database run on the shop’s device. It starts from a service worker cache and writes to a local SQLite database. A connection is only needed for cloud backup, restore or pairing.
A Windows PC or laptop with current Chrome or Edge, and an 80 mm thermal receipt printer. A USB barcode scanner is optional — it behaves like a keyboard. The pilot runs on hardware the shop already has where possible.
Yes. An item has a base unit and any number of selling units with exact conversion factors. A bag, a pallet of bags, a coil of wire or a metre can all sell from the same stock record.
The database is local; backups are explicit files and cloud snapshots are checksummed. The app warns when browser storage is at risk. It is a single-writer design, so keep one browser profile for the counter and take backups seriously.
VAT-inclusive line maths, 18% VAT, 1.25% SSCL, and Schedule 01 / Schedule 04 CSV exports are built in. Your accountant should still review the mapping before the first real return.
Not in the pilot. It is deliberately one counter, one writer. A second device can be used for restore or backup. Multi-counter is a later design problem, not something to fake with last-write-wins.
